Bike Ride in aid of Zambia

Participation fee is a 10 euros donation.

Route starting point from St Thomas Bay, Marsascala to Delimara Lighthouse, Marsaxlokk and back to Rihama Battery, Marsascala.

Route Details - Countryside terrain covering the distance of around 15km in around 2 hours.

Registration opens at 8.15am. Ride pedals off at 9.00 am sharp.

A certificate of participation and a small token will be given to all participants at the end of the event.

This is a MTB route mountain bikes, organised in collaboration with Ghaqda Bajja San Tumas.

Participants are recommended to register prior to the day. All participants are required to wear a helmet and appropriate cycling gear and fill-in a participation form declaring they are fit for the ride. Participation is at one own risk.

Youth for Mission is an initiative by the Missions Office which enables groups of youths to experience voluntary work in a missionary country. During this summer, a group of 9 youths will be going to the Diocese of Chipata, in Zambia bordering Malawi for 5 weeks. As part of their prepartion, the members of the group are organising events to raise funds which will be used to sponsor a project which Chipata residents will benefit from.
