All Saints Day concert by the St Paul Choral Society

The fifty-strong polyphonic choir will sing various short pieces of sacred music, including revivals of Maltese music from the 18th century by Zerafa and Azopardi, as well as works by Viadana, Handel, Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, Elgar, Rachmaninoff and Benjamin Britten.  The concert will include three
solos by up-and-coming young soprano Anne-Marie Agius, as well as three organ solos played by Hugo Agius Muscat and Elisabeth Conrad.

On Friday 1st November 2013, the St Paul Choral Society will present an All Saints Day concert at St Paul's Anglican Pro-Cathedral, Valletta, on the anniversary of the Cathedral's consecration which took place in 1844. The concert will start at 7.30pm.  Admission is free; there will be a collection in aid of the Chaplaincy.
