Atturi Salesjani will stage one of Jeffrey Archer famous plays called L-Akkuzat on Saturday 14 at 7.30pm and Sunday 15 at 6.30pm, November at the Salesian Theatre in Howard Street Sliema. The direction is in the hands of Tonio Vassallo.
This court drama is about the case against Patrick Sherwood who is accused of killing his wife Elizabeth with a lethal injection.
This is a particular production since the jurors for this case will be chosen from amongst the audience a few minutes before it commences and will be asked to give the verdict of guilty or not guilty towards the end of the production. The actors, who will be anxious as much as the audience to know the verdict, are prepared for both endings.
We shall assist to a harsh battle between two lawyers who dont see eye to eye and dramatic testimonies by the witnesses. Surprises are not missing either in this court drama.
You are therefore invited to attend to this production and who knows, maybe you are called as a juror and decide the fate of Mr Sherwood yourself.
