Once again LOL Productions are back for the 7th time since June 2004, with another huge stand-up comedy gig coming your way. Three top award-winning British comedians will be here to entertain you on the 16th/17th March at the Dolmen Resort Hotel. Drink, eat and laugh to your heart’s content and experience an evening where your only complaints will be sore cheeks and aching sides! The line-up will feature for the fourth time in Malta, the super hilarious Andre Vincent who will be returning to our shores to compere the evening after taking a break to record a TV series for the BBC. With his head swelling and his tongue tripping one-liners, Andre conquered the UK comedy circuit, and in no time at all established himself as one of the top stand-ups in the country today. His individual style has taken him across the scope of the performance medium: a Saturday night show on Channel 4, three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh festival, countless radio shows, presenter of two award-nominated television programmes, a regular face on daytime panel games and even an appearance as himself on the children’s drama ‘Byker Grove’. With his intellect, charm and quick wit he is bound to make you gag for more! “An improvising comedy genius” - The Guardian London The first act Matt Kirshen with his engagingly impish style is shot through with an intelligent and skillful talent that belies his youthful appearance, making him a firm favourite with audiences and fellow comedians alike. With an impressive array of awards and press accolades under his belt, Matt has become a regular on TV and at the Edinburgh Festival. Catch him now and say you saw him first. Notable Awards: Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2003, Comedy Store Kings of Kings 2003, Paramount Comedy Channel Gift of the Gab 2003 (runner up). "Killer gags" Metro London The headliner for the evening Rob Rouse has been a regular performer at major venues on both the London and National circuit after winning Channel Four's prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny?' competition at the Edinburgh Festival, an award previously won by Phil Kay, Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Tommy Tiernan and Peter Kay. Rob Rouse is one of the UK's hottest comedians. His super-charged brand of humour, complete with his trademark cheeky banter, has helped him to become one of the fastest rising stars of stage and television. “Rob Rouse is a born clown, a latter day Stan Laurel” Time Out London http://www.laughoutloud.com.mt for bookings & more info!
