Their first official release - No Button to Rewind

Sean started playing the violin from a very young age and through the years he has been classically and professionally trained. One of his best experiences to date is his concert tour in December 2008 with Enkor Choir in Ireland.

Izzy started singing before she could talk and she always found it easier to express her thoughts and feelings in poems and in time started playing classical piano and guitar. She featured in various programs including Siesta, A70 and L-iSfida.

Izzy and Sean are cousins from both sides as they like to describe themselves for the fact that Seans parents are Izzy parents siblings.
Between them they have formed a collaboration based on a strong relationship of friendship, respect and a love of music. Through the years they have learned what each of them likes and therefore can work together, often anticipating what the others' opinion will be.

Together they formed S.K.Y, a band that was previously made up of 4 people but in time, Sean and Izzy stuck together to make S.K.Y what it is today – a collaboration between two different but like-minded individuals whose main aim is to make music and make it as different and as original as possible.

Their first official release, No Button to Rewind was written by themselves with the help of local producing maestro, Elton Zarb, and King of Guitars, Aldo Spiteri. It can be described as a light hearted song reflected by its commercial appeal but at the same time containing subtle depth in its lyrics. The song would probably be classified in the pop rock genre, mixing classical violin with electrical sounds, guitar, drums and percussions for a much anticipated breath of fresh air in the local music scene.
