Photo from Manicmalta Interview (See articles). Manicmalta was launched in 1997 and has been included on 000s of flyers ever since. The aim has always been the same "the free sharing of event information" with two main objectives "To give budding organisers a chance" and "To facilitate the exchange of feedback and ideas"; all this to help organisers fine tune their product to give customers a better service next time round. May our efforts continue to provide added value to the leisure industry for years to come!

And did you know?:

Feast of the Assumption - Aug 2005 (annual) Victoria, Gozo:
There is something unusaully captivating about the typical Maltese village feast. The incessant pealing of the bells during festa week are not just a summons to an ordinary church service, instead they mark the beginning of five consecutive days of spiritual preparation which whole families flock to. The festivities are organised with meticulous care by the villagers and the pageantry is worthy of an occasion of State.

Malta Jazz Festival - Annual:
Every July a popular jazz festival enlivens the 16th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site of Valletta, capital of Malta, for three summer nights. Established in 1990, the festival attracts world-renowned jazz musicians to perform on the Grand Harbour of this beautiful, seaside town.
Past performers have included Al Di Meola, Diana Krall, Chick Corea, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Wayne Shorter, and the festival always presents an eclectic range of musical talent.

The venue for the concerts, Ta'Liesse, is beside the Grand Harbour, below the floodlit bastions of Malta's baroque fortress walls. As it's an open-air venue, tickets can be bought on the day, or booked in advance from the festival website.

Rolex Middle Sea Race - Oct 2005 (annual):
A series of inshore day races off the coast of Malta precede the Rolex Middle Sea Race, giving the assembled fleet the opportunity to not only acclimatise to the local conditions but to enjoy the unique backdrop and splendours of this Mediterranean island state.
