Mutt Ley is a Maltese born musician who is now based in Surrey. He released his first solo Album called Paid to fall in 2006. He has been on the radio top 40s on local Maltese radio and has made numerous appearances on TV stations. One of his most popular songs Mean Summer even got him a nomination at the Bay Radio music awards as young upcoming artist.

Mutt is dedicated to supporting the charity organisation YOU TOUCH AFRICA. Together with Gia his wife also a professional singer and vocal coach has formed a new choir called, Angelpop choir. Mutt and Gia have embarked into this Christmas song project to raise money in aid of building classrooms for a school in Tanzania.

Christmas Time was originally released in Malta in 2008 it was aired on various radio stations and also performed on TV. This time though it is being re-released to raise money in aid of building classrooms for the Kiraracha primary school in Tanzania that has been under construction since 2002. The villagers, most of whom are fair trade farmers, have collaborated with You Touch Africa in constructing six classrooms. Some classrooms have to accommodate up to 100 pupils as there are not enough rooms for the time being.

The Angelpop choir is a group of young children aged between 3 and a half years old to 11 who have come together to sing a song called Christmas time, to raise money for this cause. The song in itself has a very catchy chorus, which makes it very appealing and easy listening both to young and old alike.

All people involved form part of the Our Lady Immaculate parish church congregation in Tolworth. Mrs Tracey Morgan Penn one of the Angel pop parents said on face book I am very proud of all the children as they really worked hard. They had rehearsals straight after school, which may have not been very easy for them at such a young age, but still they insisted in doing it for the sake of contributing to this cause. This is a very memorable special event for them as not a lot of children release their first single at such a young age.

Gia adds on - my Angel pops all have dynamic characters and this can be felt in the sound they project as they sing this song, they are sure to have a few hundred people jumping up and down to the Christmas Time rock rhythm in no time.

Mutt Ley went on saying that - It is very important for us all to teach our children in this day and age that Christmas time is not all only about receiving gifts but mainly about sharing, helping and giving to others who are less fortunate than us.

Christmas Time will be available for download on I Tunes as from the 16 November 2012.

You can help make a difference too by either making donations directly via www.youtouchafrica.org. Also by downloading the track from I tunes or purchasing a CD at a minimum donation of 5 Sterlings from specific places, where the Angel pop choir maybe performing.
