What it is
Moveo Dance Company brings Carmen to Teatru Manoel as a dance interpretation driven by Bizet's score. The production frames Carmen through passion, freedom and defiance, translating one of opera's most recognisable heroines into movement rather than sung drama.
Teatru Manoel is on Old Theatre Street in Valletta, a short walk from Republic Street and Strait Street. Public transport works well for Valletta; taxis are easiest after late performances. Nearby attractions include St John's Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster's Palace and the National Library.
