What it is
G10-kilometre race and a half marathon (21.1 km) starting in Zurrieq, in the south of Malta, organised by the Malta Marathon team. The routes take in quiet southern roads and coast; both are open to club runners and newcomers, with entry by online application. This is the main long-distance road race before the full Malta Marathon in February. Getting there: Zurrieq is reached by bus from Valletta - check the organiser's page for the start point, time and road closures.
